From Drafting to Litigation. Dr. Haas has built her career on understanding every angle of a patent’s lifecycle. She began her IP career at Weickmann & Weickmann, learning the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications in Biochemistry and Chemistry. She then focused on post-grant proceedings (Oppositions/Appeals) before the EPO at Vossius & Partner. Afterwards she transitioned into a litigating role at Finnegan, specializing in validity proceedings before the EPO and infringement proceedings before German patent courts.
Scientific Excellence. Dr. Haas’s academic career is marked by outstanding achievement. She was awarded the prestigious Schering scholarship for her doctoral studies and completed her Ph.D. in Biochemistry with the distinction summa cum laude. Her scientific research has been published in top-tier international journals, such as Cell, reflecting the high scientific standards she applies to her current IP practice.
She knows exactly how a patent is attacked in court. This “litigator’s mindset” allows her to draft and defend patents that are not just granted, but are also optimized for high enforceability and defensibility.

Litigator. In-House Experience. Scientist. Dr. Tosi began his IP career at Vossius & Partner drafting and pursuing patent applications. As experienced patent attorney, he was involved in high-stakes litigation proceedings. To understand the business side of IP, he then moved in-house and was Head of IP of the bispecific antibodies and bioinformatics group at Immatics Biotechnologies GmbH. He was managing the global IP portfolio of several clinical product candidates, ensuring freedom-to-operate (FTO) and conducting due diligence assessments.
Scientific Excellence. Before commencing his legal career, he was awarded his Ph.D. with summa cum laude in biochemistry. His research results were published in top-tier journals, including Cell.
This combination of expertise in high-end science, patent litigation, and in-house IP allows Dr. Tosi to provide counselling that is technically precise and commercially viable.
